FAAC has expanded its offering in the automatic sliding door sector with the new AS3000 Series, designed to deliver high performance, versatility, and ease of installation and maintenance.
The FAAC AS3000 range represents a significant step forward in sliding door automation, offering solutions suitable for every type of project – from simple single doors to complex telescopic systems. Thanks to modularity and various purchasing options, installers and designers can choose the best fit for their needs, ensuring quality, reliability, and innovation.
The AS3000 series is available in a range of configurations to suit different door sizes and operating requirements:
AS3010: Supports door leaves up to 120kg or 120kg + 100kg for bi-parting applications.
AS3020: Supports door leaves up to 200kg or 150kg + 150kg for bi-parting applications.
AS3030: Supports door leaves up to 300kg or 200kg + 200kg for bi-parting applications.
The range is also available in telescopic configurations, as well as redundant versions certified by TÜV for use on escape routes.
The AS3000 platform has been developed to meet the stringent requirements of escape route applications, conforming to EN16005 for automatic pedestrian doors and EN13849 PL d Category 2 for redundant automation systems. This ensures reliable operation and enhanced safety in emergency situations.
Efficiency has been built into every aspect of the AS3000 range. During standby operation, power consumption is limited to a maximum of 0.5W, supporting reduced energy usage and compliance with relevant European eco-design requirements.
The AS3000 range is backed by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), providing independently verified information about the product’s environmental footprint throughout its entire lifecycle. This offers transparent and internationally recognised sustainability data for specifiers and building owners.
Featuring FAAC’s patented AIRSLIDE® technology, this innovative solution combines an automatic sliding door with an integrated air curtain in a single, streamlined system.
The result is improved climate control, reduced loss of conditioned air, and greater protection from dust, pollutants and external contaminants. By limiting unwanted airflow and draughts, AIRSLIDE® helps create a more comfortable indoor environment while contributing to improved energy efficiency.
